White Icing

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • sifted powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Boil the sugar and the water five minutes without stirring.
  2. Remove irom the fire.
  3. Add the flavoring, and sufficient sifted powdered sugar to spread evenly on the cake.
