Vino Pampeliskove (Dandelion Wine)

Ingredients

  • 6 lemons, cut into pieces
  • 12 oranges, cut into pieces
  • 2 pound raisins
  • 5 quart dandelion blossoms
  • 20 pound sugar
  • 5 gallon water
  • 2 yeast cakes

Directions

  1. Boil water, allow to cool.
  2. Pour over lemons, oranges, raisins, dandelion blossoms, and sugar.
  3. Add yeast.
  4. Let stand 10 days, then strain.
  5. Let stand again 4 weeks.
  6. Then put in jugs.
