Venetian Ham Horns
Ingredients
- 3 ounce sliced cooked lean ham
- 1 tablespoon aspic jelly
- stiff aspic jelly
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 pint vegetable, macedoine
- 1/4 ounce gelatine
- seasoning
Directions
- Cut the ham in small triangles, dip each piece into liquid aspic jelly and slip it inside a metal horn case.
- Stand these moulds upright in a bowl of ice.
- Dissolve the gelatine in the 1 tablespoon aspic jelly and mix with the mayonnaise, vegetable macedoine and seasoning to taste.
- Fill this mixture into the ham horns, and leave to set firmly.
- Unmould by dipping the cases for a moment into hot water.
