Derby Croutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 ounce margarine
  • seasoning
  • 2 ounce minced ham
  • 1 egg yolk
  • a pinch of dried herbs
  • rounds of buttered toast
  • sliced pickled walnuts

Directions

  1. Melt the fat, add the ham, herbs, seasoning and egg yolk, and heat.
  2. Pile on the toast, and garnish with walnut.
