Stirred Eggs

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Melt the butter in a frying-pan, and break the eggs into this.
  2. Stir in the gravy ; pepper and salt to taste ; stir quickly, until the whole is a soft yellow mass.
  3. Have ready the fried toast, spread thickly with anchovy paste.
  4. Heap the stirred egg on this and serve before it has time to harden.
