Stirred Eggs
Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 3 tablespoon gravy
- 1 tablespoon butter
- anchovy, paste
- fried toast
Directions
- Melt the butter in a frying-pan, and break the eggs into this.
- Stir in the gravy ; pepper and salt to taste ; stir quickly, until the whole is a soft yellow mass.
- Have ready the fried toast, spread thickly with anchovy paste.
- Heap the stirred egg on this and serve before it has time to harden.
