Salted Almonds II
Ingredients
- 1/4 - 3/8 cup olive oil
- 1/4 pound almonds
- nuts
- salt
Directions
- Place olive oil into a frying-pan and heat slowly, until it just reaches smoking point.
- Remove from the heat and add almonds, which should be quite dry.
- Cook slowly over a gentle heat, constantly turning them with a spoon, until golden-brown.
- Strain off the oil and toss the nuts in salt.
- Bottle in dry air-tight jars.
