Peanut Pudding
Ingredients
- 2 cup stale bread crumbs, or 1 cup dried crumbs
- 1 quart scalded milk
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Soften the peanut butter with a little of the hot milk.
- Soak the bread crumbs in the remainder of the milk.
- Add the egg, beaten, with the sugar and salt, then the peanut butter.
- Mix thoroughly and bake about one-half hour in a moderate oven.
