One Egg Muffins

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoon baking powder

Directions

  1. Cream together butter and flour and add the egg, well beaten.
  2. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and alternately, add milk and flour in small quantities.
  3. Pour into greased muffin tins and bake twenty minutes in a hot oven.
