Mocha Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter, or margarine
  • 3 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 2 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 1/4 cup strong cold coffee

Directions

  1. Cream butter or margarine to consistency of mayonnaise.
  2. Add half the sugar gradually while continuing to cream.
  3. Add chocolate; mix well.
  4. Add remaining sugar gradually.
  5. Add coffee 1 tablespoon at a time until frosting is fluffy and easy to spread.
  6. Makes enough to fill and frost a 2-layer cake.
