Listy (Crispies)
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- flour
Directions
- Mix together with a fork, adding enough flour to make a stiff dough.
- Pour onto a floured board and knead for about 7 to 10 minutes.
- Roll out 1/2 of the dough at a time until very thin.
- Cut rolled dough into squares.
- Cut a slit in the center of each square.
- Fry in hot shortening until they are a light brown.
- They fry very quickly.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
