Lemon Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon lemon extract, or 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Mix sugar, flour and salt.
  2. Slowly add the hot water.
  3. Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
  4. Add flavoring and butter.
