Lemon Cream Pie

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Mix flour, sugar and salt.
  2. Add boiling water and boil about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Beat eggs and egg yolks.
  4. Add milk and pour into the first mixture, stirring all the time.
  5. Cook over boiling water, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes longer.
  6. Remove from heat, add lemon rind and juice.
  7. Cool slightly and pour into cool baked pie shells.
  8. Cover with meringue made of the 10 egg whites and brown.
