Sponge Cake III

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Beat the eggs until thick and creamy.
  2. Add sifted sugar and beat well.
  3. Add water and lemon juice and beat again.
  4. Sift the flour, add salt and baking powder and sift again.
  5. Combine dry ingredients with the egg mixture, a little at a time folding in gently.
  6. When well blended pour into an ungreased pan with center tube.
  7. Bake in moderate oven (350f) for 50 minutes.
