Hush Puppies

Directions

  1. Sift together dry ingredients; add onion; add beaten egg and milk to dry ingredients.
  2. Stirring lightly.
  3. Drop a teaspoon of batter for each hush puppy into hot deep fat (these are good with fish-so use the same fat that the fish was fried in), frying only a few at a time.
  4. Fry until a golden brown.
  5. Drain on absorbent paper.
