Haddock Talmouse

Ingredients

  • 1/2 oz butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 oz cooked haddock
  • cayenne pepper
  • 1 oz grated cheese
  • 4 oz cheese pastry

Directions

  1. Melt the butter in a pan, stir in the fish, cheese, egg, and pepper.
  2. Roll out the pastry thinly and cut into small rounds.
  3. Put a little of the mixture in the centre of each round, wet the edges and fold to the centre to form a triangle.
  4. Seal the edges firmly, brush with egg and bake in a hot oven for 10-15 minutes.
