
Faarikaal (Mutton Stew with Cabbage)
Ingredients
- 2 pound mutton, for stew
- 4 tablespoon butter
- 1 medium head cabbage
- 1 teaspoon whole pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cup water
Directions
- Brown meat in butter.
- Add about 2 cups of water and seasonings.
- Cover and simmer until nearly done.
- Add cabbage cut into eighths and cook until done.
- The broth may be thickened with flour for gravy.
