Egg Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg yolk

Directions

  1. Melt the butter, stir flour in well, and slowly add the milk.
  2. Let it boil about two minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Season, add yolk of egg, and mix well.
  4. (The oil from the salmon may be substituted for melted butter as far as it will go.
  5. ).
