Curry of Meat with Green Tomatoes
Ingredients
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 tablespoon meat drippings, or other fat
- 1 quart sliced green tomatoes
- 3 cup chopped, cooked meat
- 1 - 2 teaspoon curry powder
Directions
- Cook the onion in the fat.
- Add green tomatoes, cover, and cook until tender.
- Add meat and heat thoroughly.
- If the mixture is too thick, thin it slightly with meat broth, gravy, or water.
- Season to taste with curry powder and salt.
- Serve with flaky boiled rice or noodles.
