Creamed Potatoes as Bettina Served Them

Ingredients

  • 3 cup cold, cooked potatoes, chopped
  • 6 tablespoon grated cheese
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoon flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  1. Melt the butter, add the flour and seasoning and mix well; gradually add the milk and cheese.
  2. Cook until the consistency of vegetable white sauce (about one minute after it boils).
  3. Add the potatoes, cook four minutes, stirring constantly, and serve.
