Cornmeal and Raisin Muffins
Ingredients
- 1 cup corn meal
- 1 tablespoon sugar, or syrup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 1/2 cup hot milk
- 1/2 cup seeded raisins
- 1 cup flour
- 4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 egg, , well beaten
Directions
- Pour the hot milk on the meal, sugar, salt, and butter; cool, add raisins, flour, baking powder, and egg.
