
Corn Bread Muffins
Ingredients
- 1 cup corn meal
- 1 cup flour
- 4 teaspoon baking powder, (rounded)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 sweet milk, to make batter
Directions
- Sift all dry ingredients together.
- Beat egg well and add to milk.
- Mix with dry ingredients and pour into well-greased and very hot muffin tins, and bake in hot oven (500f).
