Corn Bread Muffins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup corn meal
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 teaspoon baking powder, (rounded)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 sweet milk, to make batter

Directions

  1. Sift all dry ingredients together.
  2. Beat egg well and add to milk.
  3. Mix with dry ingredients and pour into well-greased and very hot muffin tins, and bake in hot oven (500f).
