Carrots

Ingredients

  • 6 medium-sized carrots
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  1. Wash and scrape the carrots, cut into two-thirds inch cubes and cook until tender in enough boiling water to cover (about fifteen minutes).
  2. Drain, add the butter, salt and pepper.
  3. Heat thoroughly and serve.
  4. Carrots may be scraped and steamed whole or cooked whole in boiling water.
