Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 2 pound cabbage
  • 2 quart boiling salted water
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Prepare as for cauliflower recipe, quartering before cooking.
  2. Cook 2 to 3 hours.
  3. May be chopped, and seasoned or served in a white sauce.
