Apple Or Peach Strudel

Directions

1. Into bottom of a buttered baking dish put thick layers of apples (or peaches).
2. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixed.
3. Dot with lumps of butter.
4. Into a mixing bowl sift sugar, flour, baking powder, salt.
5. Into this, break 1 egg.
6. Mix until crumbly.
7. Put over apples (peaches) bake in moderate oven (350f) till crust is brown.
8. Serve with milk, whipped cream or ice cream.
