Testo k Pajum (Flaky Pie Crust)

Ingredients

  • 3 cup sifted flour
  • 1 cup lard
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 beaten egg
  • water

Directions

  1. Sift flour and salt.
  2. Cut shortening into flour mixture and work until mixture is like corn meal.
  3. Break egg into a cup and beat lightly.
  4. Add vinegar and enough water to make a 1/2 cup liquid.
  5. Sprinkle over flour mixture.
  6. Stir together and form into a ball.
  7. Chill for a while.
  8. Roll out and bake as usual.
  9. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.
