Stuffed Onions

Ingredients

  • 4 onions
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon pimento
  • 1 tablespoon tomato pulp
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cup cooked celery
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Wash and peel the onions.
  2. Cook for ten minutes in boiling water.
  3. Rinse with cold water to make them firm.
  4. Push out the centers.
  5. Place the onions in a well-buttered baking pan and fill each onion with filling.
  6. Place in a moderate oven for twenty minutes.
