Spice Cake II
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cup sugar
- 3 eggs, (leave out the whites of 2 of them)
- 1 cup sour milk
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- enough flour for a stiff dough
Directions
- Dissolve the soda in a little boiling water, put in last.
- Bake in three layers.
- Ice in between the layers, thickly, using for this the two whites you have reserved.
