
Scotch Woodcock
Ingredients
- 1/2 ounce butter
- rounds of toast
- 1 egg
- capers
- 1 tablespoon milk
- anchovy, fillets
- seasoning
Directions
- Melt the fat in a pan, lightly scramble the egg with the milk and season to taste.
- Pile on the rounds of toast, and decorate with capers and a cross made of anchovy fillets.
