Savoury Fingers

Ingredients

  • 4 ounce shortcrust pastry
  • 2 cooked kippers
  • chopped parsley
  • white sauce
  • seasoning

Directions

  1. Roll out the pastry, cut into fingers and bake in a hot oven.
  2. Bone and pound the kippers, and mix with a little thick white sauce to bind.
  3. Season, spread between the pastry fingers and decorate with parsley round the join.
