Salmon Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoon flour
  • 1 egg, hard-cooked and chopped fine
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cup liquor, from the salmon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pickle, chopped fine
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Directions

  1. Melt the butter, add the salmon liquor.
  2. Add the flour, salt and paprika and mix well.
  3. Add the milk and cook two minutes.
  4. Add the egg, pickle and parsley, mix well, and pour around the loaf.
