Salmon Loaf

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flaked salmon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon melted butter
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • 1 egg yolk

Directions

  1. Mix the salmon, bread crumbs, milk, egg-yolk, salt and paprika.
  2. Pack down in a well-buttered pan.
  3. Pour one teaspoon of melted butter over the top.
  4. Dredge with flour.
  5. Bake thirty-five minutes in a moderate oven.
  6. Serve hot or cold.
