Ingredients

  • 1 pint rye meal
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • salt
  • 3 teaspoon molasses
  • milk, enough for a batter

Directions

  1. Fry in boiling lard, like doughnuts, only very small.
