Round Steak Rolls

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Buy round steak cut one-half inch thick.
  2. Wipe meat with a damp cloth.
  3. Cut into six servings.
  4. Brown the diced bacon and chopped onions.
  5. Spread on meat which has been seasoned with salt and pepper.
  6. Roll, fasten with skewers.
  7. Brown in the remaining bacon fat.
  8. Add one-half cup water, cover, reduce heat and simmer gently for 1 hi hours.
  9. These may be finished in a moderate oven (350f).
