Quick Cake Icing

Ingredients

  • 1 egg white
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoon cold water
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Beat the egg white until very stiff; add water and sugar gradually.
  2. Beat thoroughly and add the flavoring.
  3. Beat until it will stand alone, then spread on cake.
  4. More sugar may be added if necessary.
