Pickled Peaches
Ingredients
- 2 quart vinegar
- 4 pound brown sugar
- 1 ounce cinnamon
- a few cloves
- a little mace
Directions
- Boil together and pour hot over : ripe peaches, one half peck, previously paired, and a clove stuck in each.
- Let it stand till the next morning, when pour off, boil again and pour it over.
