Pease Pudding
Ingredients
- 1 pint peas
- 1 egg
- 1 ounce butter, or drippings
Directions
- Soak the peas for a day; tie them loosely in a cloth and boil gently for two hours, when soft, drain and mash them, adding the egg and butter with a little pepper and salt, replace in the cloth and boil gently for half an hour.
