Orange Ice
Ingredients
- 1 pint water
- 2 egg whites
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 oranges
- 1 lemon
- 2 teaspoon gelatine
Directions
- Boil water and sugar together ten minutes.
- Add gelatine which has been softened with two tablespoons of cold water.
- Allow mixture to cool on ice.
- Add beaten whites of eggs, the grated orange rind, the juice of the orange and the juice of the lemon.
- Freeze in ice cream freezer.
