
New Year Punch
Ingredients
- 2 lemons
- 2 pint ale
- 1/4 pint brandy
- 1/8 pint rum
- 1/6 pint gin
- 2 ounce Demerara sugar
- 1 pint water
- 1/4 teaspoon powdered nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
- Peel the lemons thinly and squeeze out the juice.
- Place the peel and all the other ingredients in a large pan and heat, but do not boil.
- Strain, and serve at once.
