Nadivka (Dressing for Stuffing Poultry)

Ingredients

  • giblets
  • water
  • 1/2 liter bread, cubed
  • 1 1/2 cup broth from giblets
  • 1/2 large onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/8 pound margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Simmer the giblets about water.
  2. Soak bread (cubed) in broth from giblets or milk or part of each.
  3. Saute onion, celery in margarine.
  4. Combine with: poultry seasoning, marjoram, eggs, salt, diced giblets.
