Lager Cup
Ingredients
- 1 rind of lemon
- 2 juice of lemon
- 1/2 pint water
- 6 tablespoon sherry
- 1 tablespoon castor sugar
- a few mint, leaves
- 1 pinch grated nutmeg
- 1 bottle lager beer
- crushed ice
Directions
- Remove the lemon rind with a vegetable peeler, cut it into strips and place in a large jug.
- Add the water, sherry, lemon juice, sugar, mint and nutmeg.
- Stir well, cover with a lid and allow to stand for 20 minutes.
- Just before serving, strain the cup, and add the beer and a few pieces of ice.
