Indian Pudding The 'Champion'
Ingredients
- 1 cup fine corn meal
- 1 quart boiling milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 ounce melted butter
- 1/4 pound sugar
- 1/4 pound raisin, floured
- 4 eggs, well beaten
Directions
- Stir cornmeal into boiling milk and let stand until lukewarm.
- Mix salt, melted butter, sugar, raisins and well beaten eggs into the batter.
- Stir thoroughly and bake 1 1/2 hours.
- Eat with cream or hard sauce.
