Hard Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 /3 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon hot water
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract

Directions

  1. Cream the butter, add water and gradually add the sugar.
  2. Continue mixing until very creamy.
  3. Add the vanilla and lemon extract.
  4. Chill and serve over the hot pudding.
