Frozen Orange Parfait
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup orange juice
- 3 tablespoon boiling water
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 pint cream
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 5 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 teaspoon granulated gelatine
- pistachio nuts
- candied orange peel
Directions
- Mix fruit juice, sugar and yolks of eggs.
- Cook over boiling water until mixture thickens; then add gelatine dissolved in boiling water.
- Cool, freeze to a mush, add whipped cream; and continue freezing.
- Mould, and serve garnished with candied orange peel and pistachio nuts.
