Frozen Charlotte Russe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 package gelatine
  • 1/2 pint cold water
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pint new milk
  • 1 pound sugar
  • 1/2 pint brandy
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Dissolve gelatine in cold water.
  2. Boil eggs and milk to a custard.
  3. Pour on gelatine, add sugar and strain.
  4. When cold, add brandy and vanilla.
  5. When it begins to set in the freezer, stir in whipped cream.
