
Frozen Charlotte Russe
Ingredients
- 1/2 package gelatine
- 1/2 pint cold water
- 3 eggs
- 1 pint new milk
- 1 pound sugar
- 1/2 pint brandy
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
Directions
- Dissolve gelatine in cold water.
- Boil eggs and milk to a custard.
- Pour on gelatine, add sugar and strain.
- When cold, add brandy and vanilla.
- When it begins to set in the freezer, stir in whipped cream.
