
French Fried Cauliflower
Ingredients
- 1 medium sized head cauliflower
- dry bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoon cold water
- salt
- pepper
Directions
- Break the cauliflower into flowerets and cook gently for 10 minutes.
- Drain.
- Roll in bread crumbs, then in the mixture of egg and water and again in crumbs.
- Fry in deep hot lard at 375f until browned.
- Drain on absorbent paper.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve very hot.
