French Fried Cauliflower



  1. Break the cauliflower into flowerets and cook gently for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain.
  3. Roll in bread crumbs, then in the mixture of egg and water and again in crumbs.
  4. Fry in deep hot lard at 375f until browned.
  5. Drain on absorbent paper.
  6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve very hot.
