Flatbrød (Flat Bread)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white flour
  • 1 cup graham flour
  • 2 cup scalded milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tablespoon shortening

Directions

  1. Add shortening and salt to the scalded milk
  2. Pour over corn meal
  3. Add flour, mix well
  4. Roll our very thin, bake on hot lefse plate
  5. Put in 225 degree oven to dry out
