Fish Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 quart cooked fish, flaked, (4--11 1/2 ounce cans)
  • 4 pound potatoes, (2 quarts mashed)
  • 1 pint evaporated milk
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  1. Boil potatoes in jackets.
  2. Skin and mash.
  3. Potatoes may be hot or cold.
  4. Mix ingredients together thoroughly.
  5. Shape into small flat cakes and fry in hot fat until crusty and brown on both sides.
