Escalloped Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup raw potatoes, sliced
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green pepper

Directions

  1. Mix the potatoes, salt, flour, paprika and green pepper.
  2. Place in a buttered baking dish or casserole.
  3. Pour the milk over the mixture and dot with butter.
  4. Put a cover on the dish and allow to cook for half an hour.
  5. Remove the cover and allow to cook twenty minutes more.
  6. More milk may be added if the mixture is too dry.
